About Philco
The Philco name calls to mind more than a century of history around the world.
The company was founded in the United States in 1892 under the name of Philadelphia Storage Battery Company, but soon came to be known as just Philco, a company that would play a fundamental role in the history of radio at the beginning of the 20th century.
Philco has always been recognized for the quality of its television sets and as a pioneer for launching products like a TV with built-in VCR.
Crossing frontiers, it arrived in Brazil to demonstrate its vocation for manufacturing extremely durable products, which have now won the confidence of millions of Brazilians.
Currently, the Philco brand in Brazil already has a lineup of approximately 150 products, including its lines of Audio, Video, Home, Heating and Air Conditioning, Kitchen and Personal Hygiene products, its White Line, and now the new line of notebooks, a national reference of sales success story that was introduced in 2008.
